Grand Slam Weekend!

A few tough days of school to get through before i dive head first into hardcore mania, starting thursday night. Thrashin in the Streets is reuniting in E. Lansing at Snyder Phillips hall on MSU campus. There are other bands playing too, but i don't really care much. 

After the show, Dave and I are staying at Jessica's place and will hang in E.L. all day before heading to Mt. Pleasant for our show with UNDER ANCHOR, DAMAGES, TALL SHIPS, and TODAY I WAIT! super solid line up. very very excited. After that show, we will return to TC and sleep.

 Long day saturday. Im putting on the show at the Legion Hall with all the bands above, minus TODAY I WAIT, which is a bummer, but our boys in Fight It Out will be there, and it will be rowday. I will be getting the PA set up that day, food cooking, and making sure bands are where they need to be when they need to be, you know. Usual show stuff. I get very excited about doing it, but feel like i can kind of be an asshole sometimes, like if something isn't done the way i would have done it, i get upset, or if something isn't done and needs to be, i'll just fucking do it myself. I don't know if its a good trait or not, but it happens. Shit always goes down as planned, though. 

We got a few shows in the works right now for spring:

HAVE HEART-TRAPPED UNDER ICE-POLAR BEAR CLUB = Mar 24th

SEE YOU NEXT TUESDAY-MISERY INDEX = end of april sometime (in the works)

ANOTHER BREATH-VICTIMS (sweden) = May 31st (in the works)

so i'm psyched on those. 

Im going to be conducting interviews with some of the band members we will be playing with this weekend, and posting them on the net. Just some funny questions and thoughts on the state of hardcore in MI as well as the rest of the country. 

I should be either A) Flyering for the show right now, or B) studying for a test i have thursday. i Choose studying. seeeeeee yuh
